Office of Research Administration
The Arts & Sciences Office of Research Administration works with faculty and graduate students in departments of the College and Graduate Schools of Arts & Sciences to develop and submit research proposals for external sponsorship. This includes arts, humanities, social sciences, mathematics, astronomy, and related departments and centers. The Departments of biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, physics and psychology have grant administrators to directly assist faculty in grant preparation and process. The Research Administration Office coordinates all Arts & Sciences grant applications and awards with the University's Office of Sponsored Programs which serves the entire University.
Services we provide:
The Office of Research Administration offers assistance with proposal budget creation, populating electronic grants packages, and reviews and obtains approvals on all institutional proposals submitted through Arts & Sciences. The Office also monitors the usage of sponsored programs funds and helps resolve issues with grant administration.
