Arts & Sciences Welcomes 52 New Faculty

UVA students weren't the only ones preparing for Tuesday's start of fall semester classes. Monday afternoon, the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences welcomed new faculty members with a reception at The Garden Room at Hotel E off the Lawn.

This academic year, 52 new faculty members are joining 27 A&S departments and programs, and many of them were on hand Monday to socialize and be welcomed by Dean Christa Acampora and Alison Levine, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and French professor.This video recap offers a helpful introduction to some of talented new faculty joining the College.
