Submissions to the CEPC may be made only by the Department's (or Program's) Chair or Director of Undergraduate Programs (DUPs). Submissions by others will be returned.

Submissions are sent to Judy Updike, College Registrar (138 Monroe Hall; The deadlines are always one week in advance of the scheduled meeting. Each request to add, change, or delete a course must be accompanied by the appropriate CCI, CCO or CCT form.  Please see the UREG Course Forms page here: ( 

After the spring semester 2011 each proposal must contain:

  • A CCI form (see Handbook for the Creation and Management of Courses in Arts & Sciences)
  • A syllabus that contains a description, course requirements, and a weekly schedule of assigned work and activities.
  • The form Core Competencies in the College (see Handbook)
